Support Staff

Our firm administrator, Ms. Melinda A. Pukanski (pukanski@fhplaw.com), has been with the firm for more than twenty-three years. She handles the day-to-day operations of the firm including but not limited to all accounts receivable and accounts payable, payroll and benefits administration and finances. In addition, she has been the legal assistant to the managing partner, George Faulkner, since 1993. In that capacity she has daily contact with clients, directly assists clients with non-legal matters (i.e. design and publication of client newsletters, administration of internal organization elections, ERISA support, etc.), and oversees the workload of the support staff. 

 

Ms. Linda G. Stein (linda@fhplaw.com) has over 30 years of experience as a legal secretary/assistant and primarily assists partners Joseph C. Hoffman, Jr. and Joseph D. Mando. Her duties include benefit claims subrogation monitoring and collection, preparing and filing of various documents with federal & local courts & other agencies, general correspondence, heavy client contact, and general office duties. She also assists with the preparation and proofreading of various plan documents, contracts, and meeting minutes.

 

Ms. Lauren A. Bakies (lauren@fhplaw.com) primarily assists partner Robert M Phillips, as well as associate Matthew T. Hurm. Her duties include document preparation, electronic and paper filing in various federal and state courts, as well as other agencies including the NLRB, FMCS, AAA and SERB, general correspondence, scheduling and research.
