Jonah Grabelsky is a partner at Faulkner, Hoffman & Phillips, LLC., and has been licensed to practice law in Ohio since 2012.
Mr. Grabelsky has been practicing employee benefits and labor law for the past 10 years. Mr. Grabelsky represents Taft-Hartley benefit plans in a variety of litigation and compliance matters related to ERISA, HIPAA, the Taft-Hartley Act, and the Internal Revenue Code. Mr. Grabelsky has extensive experience successfully vindicating the rights of his Taft-Hartley benefit plan clients in court, including receiving favorable judgments on ERISA collections cases. Mr. Grabelsky also has managed and co-authored with Mr. Hoffman VCP submissions to the IRS on behalf of their Taft-Hartley clients, resulting in favorable compliance statements.
Jonah has successfully represented clients in cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals, as well as several Ohio Courts of Common Pleas.
Jonah earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Northwestern University in 2006, and earned his Juris Doctor from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2011, where he was a recipient of the School’s Social Justice Fellowship and the Dean’s Honor List. Jonah is licensed practice in all Ohio state courts, and provides a broad range of legal services to jointly administered employee benefit trust funds and labor organizations. admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
