Jonathan W. Sobel

Mr. Sobel is an associate with the law firm of Faulkner, Hoffman & Phillips, LLC. Jonathan has been admitted to practice law since 2018. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan worked at a small union-side law firm in New York where he represented Taft-Hartley plans in federal court collections actions and defended union member clients in eviction and family court matters. He currently works with other attorneys at the firm in representing clients for arbitrations and collections matters, and advises Taft-Hartley plans on compliance matters related to ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.

 

Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from The Ohio State University with a minor in Philosophy. He completed his Juris Doctor at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, during which he completed internships with the National Labor Relations Board and the New York City Office of Collective Bargaining.

 

Jonathan is admitted to practice in all Ohio state courts and has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.  He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York.
